Links: Introduction Edit New Entry References Comments | Previous Next |
Editing an Existing Link There are several ways of loading an existing link entry into the form for further edits. A quick way is to access an entry through the list that comes up after clicking on 'Edit/View all'. In the example, we selected 'air quality information for the public' from the list, which resulted in the form as shown. Another way of populating a form with an existing entry is to perform a search with appropriate text string and then selecting the desired entry. In the example, we conducted a search for 'asthma' on the links, which brought up the list as shown. We can now click on the entry name of, for example, 'thunderstorm and asthma early warning' to load the entry into the form for further edits. The name of an existing entry can be changed. In the example, we have changed 'thunderstorms and asthma early warning' into 'thunderstorm probability for asthma early warning'. Clicking on Save initiates an uniqueness check. Since no entry with the new name existed, the name change is accepted. |
