Conventions

In publishing user types, applications, requirements, links, and lexicon terms, it is important to follow some conventions in order to ensure homogeneity throughout the URR. First we comment on entry names.

All entry names should start with a small letter and be in singular. The only exception is for lexicon terms that are names or terms that always are written with a first capital letter. Names should be chosen to be meaningful. Abbreviations should be used in names only after they have been defined in the Lexicon.

The example shows a entry name for a user type, which violates these name convention in several aspects: (1) it starts with capital letter; (2) it does not constitute a well defined user type; (3) it uses plural.
